"Housewife" sewing kit; light khaki holding blue wool yarn, cream and dark brown cotton; folds in roll, with elastic binder; with two pockets at each end holding thread; central woollen piece holding 2 pins and 7 needles; the largest needle is 7.5 cm long. Issued to soldiers as part of their kit for repairs to uniforms.
