Wooden till with sliding lid. Printed on the lid in black is a crown and "TUCKER / ALARM TILL / TUCKER & DORSEY MFG CO INDIANAPOLIS USA / 537 / MADE IN USA". Under the till is a spring mechanism consisting of five levers which when activated by the correct combination will open the till (currently opens with lever second on the right). Inside has a removable wooden moulded coin tray that sits above four compartments for notes and one moulded circular coin tray. At the back inside is the lock and alarm with "TUCKER PATENT/ ALARM LOCK / No 1 / TUCKER AND DORSEY MFG CO / INDIANAPOLIS / USA". Paper label underneath gives instructions for shipment and setting of combination. Newspaper cutting found in the till. See subfile.
