BODICE, Wedding Dress

Cream silk. Top part of bodice is of cream machine lace, alternating with bands of silk. Forms high collar and extends over sleeve and down back to 'U'. Frill of cream silk chiffon around bodice and top of sleeves with matching rosette at neck. Long full sleeves, of cream silk over cotton inner sleeve. Matching lace cuff. Bodice of silk, in loose effect at front and fitted at back over boned-fitted under bodice. Front hooks fastenings. Top of sleeves gathered, almost in smocking. Part hand, part machine sewn.
