Digger brooch of equipment type: crossed shovel, pick, drill and sledgehammer with a sieve at the crossing and bucket inscribed "WA" hanging from it, surmounted by an arch carrying fretworked letters spelling 'HANNAN'S'; stamped on the back of the shovel blade 'G.R. ADDIS/18CT'.
