The workshop You will attend a special workshop at the City of Perth Library for a one-of-a-kind learning experience about insects and other Mini Beasts from our environment! Experts from the Museum, Murdoch University, and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development will share stories about their science careers and answer as many questions as possible. Along the way, our junior curators will also: Use microscopes. Delve into how we describe species. Investigate if species are related. Hear the importance of genetic analysis. However before you do, there are a couple of things you need to know. You will need your parent or guardian’s consent. You will need to get your teacher’s approval (that’s your responsibility). You will need to come to the Workshop on Thursday 16 August (that’s a school day). You will need to be between 12 and 15 years of age.
