S ubmissions to be uploaded on this site will be in four forms:
1. An initial precis or overview of your story, with
one or two images, followed by (2).
2. The full story will be a Word Document, with images and graphs,
formulae etc,
complete with your original formatting intact for uploading.
3. Or if you have a website, provide a precis of your project with
an image or two,
and a link to your site. i.e, you keep the story on your
site, we provide a link to it.
4. We provide a simple link to your site only.
Submissions must be come with an address, preferably an email and contributors
must be prepared to receive
comment on their work. Authors MUST be prepared to take responsibility for
the accuracy and content supplied.
Crediting
All contributors to the offering must be properly credited. 'Broken Wings'
is not bound to present everything
that is received. Time and space may serve to defeat us all.
Editiorial correctness
Spelling and accuracy remain the responsibility of the presenter and material
must
not be sent in an undedited form. i.e Use your spellcheckers!! Get someone
to read the work through!
Permissions
Everything submitted needs be accompanied with a note from all involved
providing permission to place
it on this site together with and a clear statement that there is no impediment
(e.g. copyright or other
ownership issue). Photographs must be clearly credited.
Images
Those to be submitted to the site should be in the form of low res JPEG
images (RGB) please.
Size should be no larger than say 20cms wide or high at 72dpi.
Graphs/tables/charts
etc
Due to the inability of web design programs to keep your original formatting,
these must be presented as an image in JPEG format
Text
All text should be Word documents (95/98/200 etc)
Note 1: As we use Mac computers it does not matter if you don't use the
(.jpg) extension after the image title.
Note 2: Broken Wings takes no responsibility for the content or accuracy
of what is presented. That always
remains with the submitter.
Note 3: For many reasons Broken Wings reserves the right to layout the
work presented according to aesthetic
demands. eg, to break the text up or to add images from our extensive
library for the sake of the reader.
Should the contributor object, they always maintain the right to request
changes in text or representations,
but where agreement cannot be reached, the offering will be deleted from
the site.
