1985 – Engineering Diploma from ENSEEG (Institut National Polytechnique of Grenoble - France)

1990 – Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (Paris VI University), conducted in the Corrosion Laboratory
of the Research Direction of Electricity of France (EDF)
“A cathodic treatment for stabilising corroded submerged aluminium alloy objects. Understanding
of the cathodic corrosion and application to the treatment of underwater aircraft remains”

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2001 (from August): Head of the Conservation Studies at EVTEK Institute of Art and Design,
Vantaa-Finland. In charge of the study programme of the 7 lines (Art, Paper, Textile, Historic
interiors, Historic and archaeological objects, Furniture, Marine objects). In charge of the
development of research training in the conservation degree programme.
2001 (from January to June): Coordinator of the Marine Archaeological Conservation Course
at EVTEK – Institute of Art and Design in Vantaa, Finland
1995 (March) to 2001 (June): manager of the Research and Marine sections at Arc´Antique,
a conservation laboratory in Nantes (France)
1993 (September) to 1995 (February) : conservation scientist and co-manager at ART-Métal
(private conservation laboratory) a conservation laboratory in Besancon (France)
1992 (January to September) and 1991 (January to June) : conservation scientist at Valectra
laboratory, a division of Electricity of France, St Denis (France)
