"The Brig Amity at night."

Expressions of Interest are sought from residents of the Great Southern Region to join the Advisory Committee for the Museum of the Great Southern.

The primary role of the Advisory Committee is to link the Museum with the community it serves. This is a “two-way” liaison: representing the community to the Museum, and acting as an advocate for the Museum in the community.

There are currently two Advisory Committee member positions available, and the Museum is inviting local residents with an interest in its work to submit an EOI to join. Appointments are for four year terms, and are subject to approval by the Trustees of the Western Australian Museum.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Museum of the Great Southern Advisory Committee, please send a copy of your CV and a short Expression of Interest (maximum one A4 page) on why you would like to join and what particular skills or knowledge you may be able to bring to the Museum. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. People of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The closing date for EOI’s is Friday 19 January 2018.

They can be sent via email to
