The WA Museum is seeking expressions of interest from residents of the Goldfields region to join the Advisory Committee of the Museum of the Goldfields.

The primary role of the Advisory Committee is to link the Museum with the community it serves. This is “two-way” liaison: representing the community to the Museum and acting as an advocate for the Museum in the community.

The Advisory Committee meets 2 - 4 times per year to consider general business and being a member is a non-remunerated position.

There are three committee member positions available and the Museum is inviting local residents with an interest in its work to submit an Expression of Interest to join the Advisory Committee. Appointments are for a term of four years and are subject to approval by the Trustees of the Western Australian Museum.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Museum of the Goldfields Advisory Committee, please send a copy of your CV and a short expression of interest (maximum one A4 page) outlining the particular skills or knowledge you may be able to bring to the WA Museum. People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.

The closing date for all expressions of interests is 16 October 2019 and are to be sent via the following options:
