My dress was heavy satin with a large gold dragon embroidered on the back mostly in beadwork. It was bought from an op shop months before the wedding because I loved it. It was just waiting in my wardrobe for the right occasion! Groom wore a white suit bought in Perth.

The wedding story:
We met in the UK in 1982. David's parents had migrated to WA in the 1960s and he wanted to return to Perth, which we did in 1984. Three years later we got married at our home surrounded by family, friends and neighbours and had the reception in the garden. It was a lovely day. It was a second marriage for both of us and we've just celebrated our 25th anniversary.
