Read their story

Totterdell family, consisting of three brothers, their mother, Sam's wife and sons. The brothers Daniel, Samuel, Joseph started the Totterdell Building Company, building for Eldersmith throughout the State. Daniel built a lot of the woolsheds in Fremantle, Joe entered State Parliament as member for West Perth. He went on to be Lord Mayor of Perth in the 1950s and knighted by the young Queen in 1953 and became Sir John Totterdell.
