Read their story

Jozefa was deported to a labour camps in Siberia(1940). She lost her mum and sister before escaping through Persia to a refuge camp in Koja,Uganda. She had two sons there with her husband who died. She was allowed to emigrate to Australia. They travelled by ship arriving in Fremantle in 1950.
