Timmsilinmesia prehendens is synonymized with Limnesia inga. Additional taxonomic characteristics are given for L. parasolida and L. solida. Furthermore, new records are presented from the Northern Territory and Western Australia for a number of Limnesia species known from other regions of Australia.
