A NEW STYGOBIONT MELITID AMPHIPOD FROM THE NULLARBOR PLAINWA Museum Records and Supplements | Updated 1 decade agoAbstract - A new genus and species of melitid amphipod, Nurina poulteri, from the Nullarbor Plain, Western Australia, is described. The new taxon, from two caves in the Roe Plain region, is compared with melitids from elsewhere in Australia, and possible origins relevant to the recent geological history of the region are discussed.
