The aulacid wasp fauna of Western Australia with descriptions of six new speciesWA Museum Records and Supplements | Updated 7 years agoABSTRACT – This study describes for the first time the Aulacidae from Western Australia, a fauna that comprises six geographically isolated species. Three new species of Aulacus; A. douglasi, A. houstoni, and A. mcmillani, and three new species of Pristaulacus; P. curryi, P. davisi, and P. mouldsi, are described. At the same time, a key to genera and species is presented, along with a diagnosis for Aulacus and Pristaulacus, and notes on their taxonomic history and species diversity. Author(s) John T.
