Instructions for Specimen Loans for ResearchersDepartmental resources | Updated 3 years agoHow to request specimens and tissues for research from the WA Museum Terrestrial Vertebrates department. Loans Loan of specimens are available to researchers and students for a temporary period. Loans are at the discretion of the Curator for that department. We will send the requested material to your state museum where you can view the specimens. Please contact the relevant curator for loans. Tissue Loans Loans of tissue samples are available to researchers and students. Samples will depend on the availability of specimen material and at the discretion of the Curator (Please contact the relevant curator for tissue loans). Visiting the collections for research Students and researchers are encouraged to visit the Collections and Research centre at the WA Museum Collections and Research Centre. Visits are by appointment only during normal business hours. Please contact the relevant Curator for information regarding what specimens are available and to arrange a suitable time to visit.
