Kate undertakes research on collection items, for potential donations and significance assessments.
Kate manages the History Department’s collections and associated collection information and storage areas, with objects ranging from collar pins to traction engines. She has been involved in numerous large collection relocation projects, both with the WA Museum and other bodies, such as for the Museum of Childhood and City of Wanneroo, from 2006 to the present.

Exhibitions and Public Programs
Kate was involved in the redevelopment of WAMKB in 2009/2010. Kate was involved in the preparation, community consultation and development of the content and building of the Wanneroo Museum, before commencing her position at the WA Museum in 2009.
