Dress, black polyester, sequinned bodice with mid-length skirt and detached train, '3329A Gold Rush', designed by 'Tarvydas Platinum', Perth, Australia, SS09.

This full length evening dress is made from black polyester. The garment is fitted through the bust and

features padding, underwire and an empire silhouette. The back of the garment is v-shaped. The bust,

straps and the top panel of the v-shaped back are decorated with tonal black sequins. The full skirt is

gathered into the high waist. The closure is an invisible zip through the centre back. Three long godets

have been attached through the back to create a train-like effect. 

History: 

This style was shown in gold at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) in Sydney in 2008 for

the Spring/Summer 2009 (SS09) collection. This style in gold was also worn by actress Emma Watson

in a photo shoot for the Daily Mail in 2009.
