FABRIC WILDFLOWER SPECIMEN, Banksia, Blue Sun Orchid, Catspaw, Leschenaultia, Cockies Tongues, Thelma Knox

Handcrafted botanically specific fabric wildflowers made of composite materials including florist's ribbon, linen mend, vilene, picture wire, cotton wool, dyes, florist tape (Stemtex), sisal string, crepe paper, PVA glue, organza, voile, velvet or suede fabrics. This specimen depicts tall yellow with spiky leaves - Banksia polycephala - Many-headed Dryandra, Blue orchid - Thelymitra species - Blue Sun Orchid, small blue - Leschenaultia biloba Blue Leschenaultia, orange Anigozanthos humilis - Catspaw, red - Templetonia retusa Cockies Tongues, all mounted in a natural timber mallee root base.
