Large, circular badge with gold gilt finish raised rim. Black enamel Australia map in centre without Tasmania, gold gilt figure inside map kneeling next to motif with oval shape at base and three lines extending upwards. Black enamel border around rim of badge, text reads 'ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY/ SECURITY/ OFFICER', belt buckle motif at bottom centre of border. Cream enamel background in between border and Australia motif. Reverse: gilt finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH' at bottom, double brooch fixing with no pin or catch attached.
