[1] DICTIONARY, German-French, small, orange. Miniature, rectangular, bright orange, fabric covered, ‘Wörterbücher/ DEUTSCH-FRANZÖSISCH’, dictionary. Front cover reads; ‘Wörterbücher/ DEUTSCH-FRANZÖSISCH’, with sideways diamond shaped border around stylised ‘W’ in top centre, above text. Bright orange edged pages, soft cover, ‘Rudi Freudenberg’ stamped in black ink onto spine, and vertically across front cover (faded), back cover plain. Inside cover; ‘Rudi Freudenberg’ stamped in black ink, vertically, across inside cover pages, ink faded to deep purple. Hand written (cursive) name?, dedication? On inside cover reads; ‘samedi/ Lonnabener’ (?). 512 pages. Orange cover slightly dirty with wear, orange page edging worn off, corners well thumbed, spine intact, edges slightly worn/ threads coming loose.
[2] DICTIONARY, French-German, small, red. Miniature, rectangular, red, fabric covered, ‘FRANCAIS-/ALLEMAND’, dictionary. Front cover redas; ‘FRANCAISE-/ ALLEMAND/ 12000/ MOTS/ DICTIONAIRE/ LILIPUT/ 2’. ‘12000/ MOTS’ bordered by thin, hexagonal border in centre of cover. Spine reads; ‘ 2/ FRANCAIS-/ALLEMAND’. Red edged pages, ‘Rudi Freudenberg’ stamped in black ink up spine and across back cover. ‘Rudi Freudenberg’ stamped vertically on each inside cover page, ink faded to deep purple. Childlike, handwriting in pencil opposite title page, reads ‘Les Arond/ Relish’ (?). Inside back cover page, childlike handwritten note; ‘POUR/ FRITES./ 1ST BUBS/ READER.’ 663 pages, publisher: 'LEIPZIG/ SCHMIDT & GÜNTHER'. Red edging worn/faded from pages, corners well thumbed, spine intact but edges worn. Red cover dirty.
