[1] Medal, bronze, Cross of Honour, non-combatant. Small, bronze, ‘1914/1918’, Cross of Honour, non-combatant, medal. Round link ring, attached to eyelet. Linear border around arms of cross, with plain edge. Raised wreath and bow embellishment around outer circle, with raised text ‘1914/1918’ in field of cross. Reverse: plain, bottom arm: ‘45/R.V./PFORZHEIM’. Bronze tarnished, otherwise near new condition.

[2]Certificate, ribbon pinned. Small, rectangular, off-white, paper, Cross of Honour, certificate with pinned dark blue, white and red vertically striped ribbon pinned to top right corner. Text in printed gothic German, reads; ‘Im Namen des Führers und Reichzkanzler/ Dem Kaufmann David B e h r e n s/ in K i e l/ ift auf Grund der Berordnung vom 13. Juli 1934 zur Gribberung an/ den Weltkrieg 1914/1918 das von dem Reichspräfidenten Generalfeld-/ marschall von Hindenburg geftiftete/ Ghrenkreuz für Kriegsteilnehmer/ verliehen morden./ K i e l , den 30. Januar 1935./ Der Polizei – Präsident./ Jn Vertretung:…/ Nr. 2242/35.’ Black ink signature in bottom right corner. Circular, faded purple stamp with eagle crest stamp lower, slightly left of centre. Text of stamp reads ‘Polizeipräsident/ Kiel’ in gothic German font, with one swastika either side of ‘Kiel’. Ribbon pinned to top right corner with small metal pin, slightly discoloured blue, white and red stripes, with frayed top and bottom ends. Reverse plain. Paper folded into vertical quarters, tears at top edge and along fold lines. Corners bent over, especially right side. Dirty/rust marks in centre of front and along bottom edge, and over right side of reverse.
