SOUVENIR, small, life buoy

Small, round, red with white detail, wood, rope, glass?, with black and white photograph in centre, model life buoy souvenir. Black and white photograph of the Navy Memorial at Laboe beach, near Kiel Germany, in centre, overlaid with glass? and surrounded by red and white circular life buoy with rope detail around edge. Hand-painted text on top and bottom reads; ‘MARINE-/ Ehrenmal/ Laboe b. Kiel’. Red life buoy has four pieces of shiny white tape?, holding in place looped, cream coloured rope, to emulate real life buoy. Reverse is plain, covered in brown paper, with hand-written pencil note; ‘22/7, 36,/ von/ Opa & Oma/ Kiel’. Small spot of paint scratched off front left side, other superficial marks to paintwork. Photograph discoloured, and underside of glass? dirty. Rope discoloured. Paper backing bubbled in places.
