CLIPBOARD, ‘OTTO M KRÜGER’, brass clip

Small, rectangular, light coloured wood with remanants of dark covering, blue and pink paint, large, wide, brass clip, ‘OTTO M KRÜGER’, clip board. Triangular shaped brass clip, with worn lettering ; ‘OTTO M KRÜGER/ Hambourg 26 Hammerlandstr. 57 II/ …lse & Co. Ruf Fleischer & S…/ Vo… & Sasse 260150 Drosieweike’, secured to board with two small screws on each side, and hinge mechanism. Wooden board is chipped and stained. Remnants of dark coloured fabric? Covering remain at edges of top side (one piece on right side loose), 2/3 of front is coloured light blue, with a stripe of pink across bottom of coloured section (stained from covering? Painted?), handwritten pencil note in lower third, ‘Shirley Freeden/ £7…’ Two small holes in top side of board, towards bottom edge, lower left edge chipped off. Sides show two layers of wood, sandwiching a centre layer of chipboard-like material. Base has large amount of remaining dark cover material, very worn, tinged blue around edges of covering.
