COAT, dark blue, quilted bilk silk crepe

COAT, dark blue, quilted bilk silk crepe. [1] Coat. Long, slightly A-line, navy, heavy bilk silk crepe, decorative quilted raised curved lines design on front of bodice, women’s top coat. Geometric, zig-zag, sweetheart neckline, open front with no discernible fastenings except thin tie belt [2], held by thin fabric belt loops. Long sleeves, with shoulder pads. Reverse: plain back with waist seam the only feature. Inside: neck roll seam hand-repaired, and hanging tab reinforced with hand stitching. Set-in sleeve seams, inner cuffs and sections of bottom hem all hand-repaired. Small worn holes in lining, especially right side panel. Hand repaired/patched area in centre of back lining. Some small holes/wear along right panel seam (towards centre), lower thighs, left wrist and back of right arm. Small white dirty marks all over skirt of fabric and near back of neck.
