DRESSING GOWN, black, satin, quilted

Long, art deco, black with pink (discoloured/stained) collar and cuffs, floral lining, quilted satin, women’s dressing gown. Cross over, V neck, heavily rust stained/discoloured pink linear quilted collar and overturned cuffs. Art deco quilted curved and linear design on black satin bodice. Single round black button secured at waist with satin fabric hook. Patch pocket on right hip, near side seam. Fabric belt loops at waist, on each side seam. Pulled threads throughout quilting, especially over torso. Small white stain near hem, right side. Reverse: upside-down quilted arch design on reverse, with horizontal linear quilting from hips to hem. Two rust patches on right elbow, small patches of pulled/worn fabric on right hip. Hand repaired left arm/cuff, some pulled threads in quilting. Inside: Lining fabric hanging tab in centre of inside collar. Collar roll worn. Lining fabric; red and white curved lines, interspersed with diamonds of small yellow and red flowers on blue background. Two waist ties sewn into left side seam, secured under right collar point with satin fabric hook. Dirty marks on left and right open sides, near hem. General discolouration of lining fabric. Machine finished seams. Press stud inside left and right cuffs. Hem threads coming loose, near left side seam. Generally good condition considering age.
