APRON, maid’s, Broderie Anglaise

Long, thin, lightweight, cream, linen, Broderie Anglaise, maid’s apron. Wide halter straps attached to wide shoulders that meet at a square neckline. Wide waist ties join a thin waist that flares into a knee-length A-line skirt. Delicate, simple, floral (daisy) cut-out design and embroidered border (Broderie Anglaise) on outer edge of apron, complimented with inner border of similar daisy cut-out design, with linear cut-out border down length of apron, from shoulders to knees. Large hole/tear on left thigh, rust staining near tear, across thighs, waist and both halter straps. Some discolouration of fabric, originally white? Some pulled threads around linear cut-out border on reverse of apron. Fabric creased all over, especially straps.
