Photograph shows, as text reads 'Presented By Perth Labor Day Committee/ and S.G. Davies Esq For/ The Waterside Workers Federation/ (W.A. Branch) As/ A Prize winning organisation/ In the Labor Day Procession of 1958'. (Text found on plaque, placed on frame underneath photograph). Photograph shows a street with large trucks with banners driving by, as well as people on foot. Buildings form the background, and citizens can be identified on the left hand side of the photograph. Photograph is of a procession. Text on banners in the photograph read 'It's not/ my baby. Goal for / 1958/ 'Out/ BOB'. Forward to socialism/ We demand....Pension/ socialism/ 'means peace security Happiness'./ Peace brings Happiness/ and/ Economic Security./ Waterside/ Workers/ Federation. / Industrial/ pension/ for all/ Industries.' Text on buildings reads 'Economic/ stores. /. Mallochs."The photograph has a cardboard border, and a wooden frame (light colour wood). There is a metal plaque attached to the bottom of the frame. The back is covered with adhesive tape and a wooden back. Two metal hooks secure an orange coloured rope around the back, attached to the rope is a metal piece of wire. Text on back reads 'Boans of Perth/ Picture frames for fine Art prints.'
