Orange cards with black print. The front depicts the British Arms building and reads "GOLDEN MILE MUSEUM / KALGOORLIE, W.A / "BRITISH ARMS" 1899". The reverse has a number stamp, from a sequential number stamp, numbered from 073800 to 073897. Reads "The "British Arms" was built in 1899 and operated as a hotel until it was delicensed in about 1924. From then until about 1963 the building was used as a boarding house. It was vacant for a number of years until it was purchased and converted into a museum by the Golden Mile Museum Board. This museum is run with the idea of preserving the history of the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The Golden Mile Museum became an official branch of the Western Australian Museum on 9 December 1989, and changed its name to The Museum of the Goldfields.
