[sketch] shaped bar, two bolts on either end. Centre of horizontal part has iron sleeve (movable) with large hook. End of hook has iron ring. One vertical end has a loose iron hook and a thinner open iron hook. The other has a loosely fitting bolt. A traveller was bolted on to each shaft of a dray or wagon and was used to hold the shafts to the dray or wagon. See illustration on data sheet.
