Dinner suit of black wool bararthea, comprising jacket, trousers, shirt, bow tie and studs.
(a) Jacket: single-breasted, one button, shawl collar, narrow lapels faced with satin; label inside breast pocket 'Tailored by/ Barry/ Wayne'.
(b) Trousers: double pleated at waist front, zip fly, 6 buttons inside waistband for suspenders; black braid down outside leg seams; back heel reinforced with "leather" piece.
(c) Shirt: white cotton; pleated dicky front with elastic loop to attach to button inside trousers in order to keep front taut; label at neck 'PELACO/ DIPLOMAT/ ALLCOTTON/ FULLY GUARANTEED'; size 15 1/2.
(d) Bow tie: black synthetic, ready folded; clips onto neckband of black petersham; in plastic box labelled 'Lido'; purchased from Boans, cost $1.20.
(e) Studs: 3 cuff studs, gold metal fitting with small square head of black plastic; in original plastic box, labelled 'Victa'; purchased from Boans, cost $1.25.
