Wooden doll in style known as 'Dutch dolls', or 'peg' dolls in America. Dressed in Welsh national costume of full red cape, with large hood, blue and white checked apron, figured green and white cotton jacket, knee-length and with long sleeves. Purple and black check, woollen kerchief, thick woollen skirt, back with red and white stripes, white cotton petticoat and black leather boots. Tall black hat. Body all wood, with peg joints. Brown knitted stocking to just above knee. Ruffle of lace tied at neck.
Painted face with blue eyes and very red cheeks. Painted black hair with grey at sides.
