Lace is original. Jabot matching lace at cuffs worn with jacket. Shoes worn were black with silver buckles & black - bows & sockings. COAT: Navy blue velvet with white cotton lining (top) and blue glazed cotton lining in tails. Stand-up collar behind neck. No lapels. 5 small sections of blue silk ribbon on each side down front, 3 on pockets and each cuff. Metal to cuffs - cotton, machine- made net with machine tambour work and buttonholing. Machine-sewn, hand-finished. In ink on lining "A.H." - Matching lace jabot. WAISTCOAT: Front blue sateen with 8 round brass buttons. No buttonholes. 'U' opening at front, cut to two deep points in front Back-fastening with 4 hooks and tape. White cotton lining and back. All machine sewn. BREECHES: Dream sateen with cotton waistband and lining. Fastens at sides waist with buttons. Central buttonhole in waistband. Slightly gathered to narrow cuff at or below knee. All machine sewn. Worn with stockings and black shoes with black bows and silver buckles.
