We live in a carefree, happy society. Full of parks, water and many family-friendly community events. WA is a wonderful place to raise a family. Tina
The sense of community - no matter where you go in this lovely state, everyone is in it together to make it better for everyone else. My aim is to ensure that everything I do keeps this state beautiful! Rhiannon
Our isolation breeds an independent spirit, and a welcoming spirit. We don't take people for granted. We go out of our way to contribute to national events even though it always involves a great deal of time and money to travel to them. Although we are always outnumbered, and frequently overlooked, we always accept the responsibility to contribute and share nationally. Judith
Very proud to be a West Australian. I arrived in Fremantle in 1966 from the UK and to see how Perth and Western Australia has grown since then has made me very proud. Perth has grown into a modern and contemporary city which is a rival to any of the big cities of the world. West Australian people are compassionate and kind hearted and very community minded. We can only become better and better every year. I am very glad to be living in glorious Bassendean, and love the area and the community in this area. Luckily Bassendean has a great history for us all. Georgie
I have travelled Australia 3 times and Western Australia has it all. I am a country girl at heart and love every inch of WA from the glorious south west to the Pilbara and Kimberley's. Though I am through and through a midwest girl. Charmaine
Freedom of choice and liberty in movement. A clean environment with wide open land & water to enjoy. The ease to partake in the sport of sailing. Greg
