Storytelling is one of the oldest and most important human traditions. It is also universal.

Stories facilitate the transfer of knowledge, culture and identity from generation to generation.  Stories can be shared through language (spoken or written) or through images and other visual depictions.  This exhibition shares stories about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Aboriginal Australians, endangered Australian animals and everyday Australians who have come from both culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

The Art of Storytelling is created by United Nations Association of Australia WA Inc with support from Foundation for the WA Museum and Minderoo Foundation.
