Take an exclusive behind the scenes look at the WA Museum's fascinating collection of old boats and other hidden treasures in storage in the A Shed. Check out some classic cars and hot rods thanks to Classic Customs and Hot Rods of Perth. View the amazing car show in front of the museum from 10.00am - 3.00pm.

For those who would like to explore the WA Maritime Museum as well, enjoy entry by gold coin donation!

A free vintage bus service will be running between the Maritime Museum and the Arthur Grady event in King's Square.

Join us in the NWS Shipping Theatre during the Maritime Museum Open Day for an astonishing visual presentation. Through cutting edge technology navigate the remarkable changes to the Perth and Fremantle landscape from 1890 - 2016.

Curtin University HIVE (Hub for Immersive Visualisation and eResearch) in partnership with the State Library of Western Australia has created interactive software that will fully immerse you in a wide selection of breathtaking historical panoramas.

This event is presented in conjunction with the Western Australian Museum.
