St Patricks Community Support Centre in Fremantle has spent more than 40 years helping the homeless. One of the most popular and talked about programs at St Pat’s is The Starlight Hotel Choir, named after the ‘Hotel of Stars’ where many homeless people sleep. The choir has expanded from its simple jamming sessions in 2007, to become a professional and dedicated choir consisting of up to 30 members. Community based and open to anyone, the choir consists of both those who utilise St Patrick’s services and members of the wider community.

Be sure not to miss the energy and magic of The Starlight Hotel Choir, during this special performance at the Museum.

Cost: Free with Museum entry
Bookings: Bookings are not required
For further information: Call 1300 134 081

The museum will also be joining businesses in Victoria Quay, Fremantle, collecting warm items of clothing, such as hats, gloves, socks and blankets to give to St Pat’s.  A collection point will be located at the WA Maritime Museum from 1 July – 31 July, during which time donations can be made.  Please note that all donated items must be new.
