Calling all pirate apprentices! Join in our swashbuckling pirate adventures and get ready to sail the seven seas.

This year marks the 400th anniversary of Dirk Hartog landing on the West Australian coastline, so come join in the fun activities and commemorate this special event with us.

Swashbuckling Seas

Join in the pirate parade by dressing up as your favourite swashbuckling sailor or marvellous mermaid and take part in our parade.

Dates: Saturday 24 September – Sunday 9 October
Times: 11am
Ages: 4+
Cost: Free

Make your own captain’s costume with a feathery parrot to sit on your shoulder and pirate hook for your hand.

You can even colour in your own sea creature and have it “brought to life” on our amazing new digital animation screen!

To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Dirk Hartog landing on the West Australian coast, create your own 3D Dutch trading ship like the one he used to sail to the Spice Islands in Indonesia.
