You and your students will watch 12 of Australia's best young scientists take to the stage to win your hearts and minds. Contestants have three minutes to explain complicated scientific concepts in a fun and enlightening way. Jargon and PowerPoint are strictly banned - but jokes, props and costumes are strongly encouraged! One lucky presenter will be chosen to represent Australia in the FameLab International finals at the Cheltenham Science Festival later this year. Event Running Time 9.30am - 9.45am School arrival time and check in 10am - 11.30am FameLab 11.30am - 1pm Explore the WA Maritime Museum (+ self-paced breaks) Teacher Supervision Ratios Years 7 - 10 1 adult to every 10 students Years 11 - 12 1 supervisor with the group Space is limited, so we recommend that school bags are not brought to the Museum.
