You can’t see the energy created, but we can show you what it can do. Come to the WA Museum – Kalgoorlie-Boulder these school holidays to see how the Sun can be used to cook some food! See the effect wind can have on your creations, and the energy used by some of the objects on display. Using the Sun and Wind Tuesday 29 September 2015 – Friday 2 October 2015 & Monday 5 October – Friday 9 October 10.30am How easy is it to cook a pizza using the Sun’s energy? Create your very own solar pizza oven, make a pizza, cook it, and then enjoy eating it! While you’re waiting for your food to cook, build some objects that show the power of wind, such as a wind sock and pinwheel. Which pinwheel design works best?
