Santa arriving to Kalgoorlie in a firetruck

Come along to the Museum’s annual Open Day on St Barbara’s Day, Saturday 6 December, from 9.30am to 1.00pm.

Muscle cars and working engines will be on display. Kids activities include decorating a Christmas card, decorating – and using – a hula hoop, check out the cute chooks from the Poultry Club. Chews and treats for your favourite pet can be bought from SAFE, there’ll be a sausage sizzle out the front, and for those who like their morning coffee you can get one from Queen Bee’s coffee cart, and maybe a cupcake to go with it.

Fancy a photo with Santa? Well, follow the reindeer hoof prints around the Museum to find Santa and the photographer.

And of course, enjoy the airconditioned comfort of our World War I exhibition Faces From the Front.
