Museum of Geraldton

Discover WA’s fascinating scientific heritage through the colourful screen print paintings and time-lapse video constructions of Perth artist and graphic designer Miles Noel.

Aided by National Science Week and Inspiring Australia funding, Miles created portraits of past and present West Australians such as engineer C Y O'Connor, early settler and botanist Georgiana Molloy, and geologist Philip Playford who have achieved great scientific innovation and discovery for WA - many enduring great struggles and triumphs in their endeavours to improve and advance our lives.

Accompanying the artworks are entertaining fast-paced video clips featuring stop motion animation, info stills and time-lapse photography of the works’ construction.
