Museum of the Great Southern

The Restoring Hope Art Exhibition showcases the artwork of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds as they share their stories of hope with the Western Australian community.

To produce works for exhibition, young people from Katanning Senior High School, Aranmore Catholic College, North Lake Senior Campus, Edmund Rice Leadership Group and Australian Islamic College participated in workshops with local artists. From these workshops the participants created poetry, shadow puppets, photographs and visual art pieces that reflected the exhibition theme, Restoring Hope.

Supported by Department of Local Government and Communities and the Office of Multicultural Interests, and coordinated by Propel Youth Arts WA.

Entry is free.
