00 Introduction

Welcome to the Travellers and Traders in the Indian Ocean World Curatorial Audio Guide. I'm Corioli Souter, a curator in the Department of Maritime Archaeology at the Western Australian Museum, and together with my co-curator, JD Hill Head of Research at the British Museum, we would like to share twenty of our exhibition object highlights. We will be joined in this tour by Alistair Paterson, an archaeologist from the University of WA, and Charlotte Dixon, a doctoral student at the British Museum.
