Dinosaurs will roam the WA Museum – Perth this summer as the Museum welcomes back Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo performances from 4 January, 2016.

Western Australian Museum CEO Alec Coles said the performance-based program will feature incredibly realistic life-sized dinosaur puppets, with two new appearances to Perth.

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo is hugely engaging and enjoyable. It combines fun and education and is suitable for children and adults alike,” Mr Coles said.

“This amazing dinosaur spectacular will run from 4 to 31 January with three performances each day.

“Visitors to the performances will see a variety of dinosaurs including a titanosaur. Believed to have once roamed Australia, titanosaurs represent the last of the sauropods, a group of plant eating dinosaurs including the heaviest creatures to have walked the earth.

“This year Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo features an amazing new Triceratops, which literally means "three-horned face", and a new T. rex – both will no doubt steal the show.”

Performances by Erth Visual and Physical Inc. were a major drawcard for the WA Museum in 2012 and this year the show promises to be bigger and better with  more dinosaurs to entertain audiences.

Bookings are essential and tickets are now available online at www.museum.wa.gov.au/dinozoo

The performances are suitable for adults and children five years and older.
